GENERAL INFORMATION
PROTECT Zn® is a formulation of phosphorous that contains 20% PHOSPHORUS (P2O5) and 5% ZINC (ZnO). It widely affects against phytopathogenic fungi and bacteria diseases especially Oomaycetes such as phytophtora, pernospora, plasmopara, psoudopernospora and beremia by destroying cell wall and altering spores generation. It also has effects against Ervinia amylovora which causes fire blight in pear and apple trees.
PROTECT Zn® has nutritive properties with two essential nutrients supplies. Phosphor incorporated into cells membranes where it forms an important energy-yielding molecule and structural components. It is essential for root growth, photosynthesis and respiration. Zinc plays an important role in a wide range of processes, such as cofactor for plant enzymes and hormones production. Applications of PROTECT Zn® accumulate phytoalexins and produce a long term eliciting affects against diseases as it acts on different areas on the cytoplasm.
