The pH Down – pH Buffer an organically buffered solution
GENERAL INFORMATION
Unlike the pH regulators generally available on the market, pH Down is not a common acid. It is a precise formula that regulates, feeds, and buffers your nutritive solution all at once.
Together with a balanced blend of acids, we have incorporated buffers to stabilize pH and help control Calcium in hard water situations. To raise the pH level this solution is especially useful to growers using Reverse Osmosis or demineralized water. This new version contains silicate to improve your plant’s environment.
Silicate deficiency can be a limiting factor in hydroponics. Because of its low solubility, it is difficult to put enough of it in the solution. This is why we incorporate it in our products each time it is possible.
Triple action with the following characteristics:
- Regulates the pH of the solution between 4.5 to 6.5 depending on the dosage
- Increase foliar dispersion.

SOLVE H.R ® buffers spray water into pH range 4–5 which helps prevent sensitive agrichemicals from breaking down or being deactivated and does not allow the pH to go below 4. It must be added in the spray solution after foliar fertilizers and before pesticides. Add the product in small quantities to the spraying water with continuous agitation. If the tank content cannot be visualized, take a sample and add more drop by drop in a graduated container. Measure the quantity of the product added to get optimum pH and add the same proportion to the aspersion tank. The soft waters will change quickly from white to pink color. The hard waters turn from white to yellow-orange and pink. The amount of added will depend on the hardness of water. Harder water requires higher concentrations. it does not acidify solutions beyond pH 3 no matter how much product is added To prevent overdosing,
SOLVE H.R ® is compatible with most foliar fertilizers and plant protection products except compounds with acidic reaction. Before tank mix, observe pesticide label direction and make jar a test for compatibility.
